Consequently, flower-bulb growers are paying more and more attention to drying and storage technologies. Agratechniek offers ventilation facilities for any situation. Thanks to our practical experience and thorough knowledge of the product, you are provided with both technical and economic solutions that are made-to-measure. Such issues as product types, harvest volumes, methods of cleaning and stages of drying form the basis for this. Perfection in 1-layer ventilation
Evenness is the characteristic of optimal ventilation. This evenness is realized by means of the effective 1-layer air-distribution system. It works according to a logical principle.
The bulb boxes and their pallets are neatly aligned to the air-distribution system and to one another. This means the air escaping from the system can only travel in one direction: upward. The special pallet and base construction means that every box has its own large-capacity outlet - this enables the air to escape evenly.

Perfection in 2-layer ventilation
Efficient ventilation of flowerbulbs demands an efficient ventilation system. Moreover, the ventilation boxes must be easy to manage and durable. The 2-layer air-distribution system meets these criteria. It operates according to a logical principle.
When an even number of bulb boxes are stacked on top of each other in front of the air-distribution system, the air is blown in for every two layers of boxes. Via the pallets of every even layer of boxes, the air is constantly distributed over 2 layers of boxes. (i.e. the 1st and 2nd layers of boxes, the 3rd and 4th layers of boxes, and possibly also the 5th and 6th layers of boxes.) The air escapes via the pallets of the uneven layers of boxes as well as at the top. (Special attachments are used to safeguard efficient air distribution.) The diagram clearly illustrates this.

Ventilators
Ventilator technology is indispensable for drying and conditioning agricultural products. Axial ventilators are put to frequent use here. Characteristic of axial ventilators is that the air flows in the longitudinal direction of the shaft of the ventilator motor. Environmental legislation plays an increasingly important role in drying and conditioning agricultural products and ventilation technology. Centrifugal ventilators

Heating
Drying of flower bulbs can also be done by heating. Some companies still use oil-fuelled heaters; their temperature control (on/off) restricts their deployability. This is one reason why interest in easily uncontrollable gas-fuelled air heaters has increased considerably. Advanced, reliable and economically responsible temperature control is guaranteed by a hot-water element with a central-heating installation.

Air-heaters

Heating
